KENTUCKY ANNOUNCES NEW TRAVEL ADVISORY
In light of rising COVID-19 cases in Kentucky and other parts of the country, Governor Andy Beshear announced a new travel advisory for Kentuckians. Individuals coming back from or visiting from states with a 15 percent or higher COVID positivity rate are advised to self-quarantine for 14 days.
These states include:
- Alabama
- Arizona
- Florida
- Georgia
- Idaho
- Nevada
- South Carolina
- Texas
- Mississippi
Governor Beshear also announced that informal social gatherings would be restricted to 10 people. This rule does not preempt other restrictions on businesses that may allow for larger gatherings. Governor Beshear discussed the rule in the context of personal social gatherings, such as cookouts and family get-togethers.
