NEW COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS ON BARS AND RESTAURANTS IN KENTUCKY
Following a mask mandate and a new travel advisory earlier this month, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear announced new restrictions on bars and restaurants in response to rising COVID-19 cases in the Commonwealth.
Effective July 28, 2020:
- Bars are to close for the next the two weeks.
- Restaurants are to limit indoor seating capacity to 25 percent, though outdoor seating will remain unlimited provided that social distancing guidelines are followed.
Governor Beshear noted these restrictions were advised by the White House. These two new restrictions will be re-evaluated on August 11, 2020.
